Pick-3 Tour Inclusive Bourbon Trail Tours

Our most popular tours are our pick-3 bourbon trail tours. We have found that this is the magic number of distilleries you can visit comfortably throughout the day if you’re planning to do an experience at each. On these tours, guests will pick their region, pick their distilleries, and we do the rest!

Please note, that you do want to book these tours as early as you can. The later you tour, the fewer options will be available for you and your group.

These packages include:

  • Private vehicle and driver with a bourbon educator

  • 3 tours with tastings at 3 of your top distilleries

  • A consulting session

  • Convenient pickup and drop-off in the tour region, in Louisville, or along the tour route

  • Hassle-free planning, booking, and logistics

  • Snacks and water

Who these are good for:

Pick-3 options are really great for any traveler, but are great for those who don’t want to deal with logistics, paying multiple distilleries, or scheduling the trip for an entire group. Overall, they’re great for a hands-off approach and put the responsibility on us to plan and book the trip!

You book your experiences, we handle the driving

Bourbon Trail Transportation-Only Packages

Almost as popular as our pick-3 bourbon trail tours are our transportation packages. On these days, you will have a private vehicle and driver, but will be responsible for booking your own distillery experiences. These packages generally save our guests a bit of money, or are good if they want very niche things that don’t fit into our standard pricing.

When priced against limo companies or private drivers, we are generally lower in price, and all of our drivers are experts in Kentucky bourbon!

These packages include:

  • Private vehicle and driver with a bourbon educator

  • A consulting and logistics session

  • Convenient pickup and drop-off in the tour region, in Louisville, or along the tour route

  • Snacks and water

Who these are good for:

Transportation packages are great for those who may already have tours lined up at distilleries, or those who do not want to do traditional tours. Or, for those that want to put together their own day and just want someone to handle the driving!

Distillery Hopping Bourbon Trail Tours

For fans of bar hopping! Our Distillery Hopping packages are designed to get you into as many distilleries as possible during business hours. On these tours, you will see the grounds, visit bars and gift shops, or eat at distilleries all day without traditional tours and tastings.

These are fun days if you are having a tough time narrowing down your stops, or if you’re a completionist and want to see the whole trail (in time, of course!)

  • Private vehicle and driver with a bourbon educator

  • A consulting and logistics session

  • Convenient pickup and drop-off in the tour region, in Louisville, or along the tour route

  • Snacks and water

Who these are good for:

Our Distillery Hopping bourbon trail tour packages are great for bachelor parties, for cocktail lovers, or fans of shopping. They’re also great for those who have done bourbon tours in the past and want to avoid hearing some repeat information.

Bourbon Trail Tours FAQ

How much does it cost to do a bourbon trail tour?

There are several factors that affect the price of a bourbon trail tour. Mostly, this depends on the size of your group, and if you’re looking for a tour-inclusive trip or just transportation. You can find the pricing for our tours on a per-person basis on the home page of our website or the pricing page

What is the minimum and maximum number of people?

The minimum number of folks that we will take on a private tour is 2. We really do not like to have more than 10 or 12 guests in a group to provide the best experience, but we will do our best to accommodate larger groups.

Can I do a DIY bourbon trail tour?

Of course you can! We have several bourbon trail guides on our website that can help with planning your trip. Of course, you will lose some of the benefits of having a tour company and private driver for a DIY trip.

What is the best region to tour?

The best region to tour at really depends on what your favorite bourbons are or where your bucket-list destinations are. We have lists of distilleries broken down in each region all over our website, so please have a look around!

When is the best time of year to do a bourbon trail tour?

Whenever you can get here is the best time to do a bourbon trail tour! Spring and Fall are the most popular times, but are also the busiest. Middle of the week and in the offseason are when you’ll typically have less crowds and more ideal time slots at the distilleries.
